GOOD DAY, READERS.

Expedia is increasingly focused on having its IShowSpeed partnership fuel conversions. Global Tourism Reporter Bailey Schulz notes that Expedia's newest ad — a shoppable video on the custom Exspeedia.com site — follows the 21-year-old creator through a Corvette, a jet boat, and an outdoor massage, trailed by a bright-yellow mannequin labeled "You Here." Every stop offers clickable experiences that prompt viewers to book on Expedia's main website, with trimmed cuts running as online video ads and on social channels. It builds on April's Caribbean livestream, which reached over 400 million people and spiked search demand for the featured destinations.

Skift Creator Summit

The shoppable video is the new search box, and the question facing every travel brand is how creator attention becomes bookable demand.

It's the question anchoring the Creator Summit, part of Skift Global Forum in New York on September 22, where 50 to 75 CMOs, growth, and brand leaders map the path from inspiration to transaction.
