U.S. News & World Report ranked the 30 best U.S. conference cities for 2026-2027. Las Vegas, Chicago, and Orlando took the top three spots, but the first surprise came in at #4.
The White House wants more control over federal conference grants. The events industry associations and the scientific community are pushing back saying the layers of federal oversight added to conference grants, professional membership disbursements, and international research partnerships will be disastrous.
